Mr. Bengt Lindqvist, UN Special Rapporteur on Disability, Former M.P. and Cabinet Minister, Sweden was visited Slovenia in November as a guest of the Slovenian Government.
He met with representatives of the disabled organizations and had talks with slovenian ombudsman, with Minister for Family and Social Affairs, with Director of Government Office for the Disabled and Chronically Sick of the Republic of Slovenia. Mr. Lindqvist sent us a special background paper on the UN Standard Rules on the Equalization of Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities and his speech from Osaka forum on this occasion.
