FIMITIC: Global health priority isssue towards equal opportunities for disabled people - World Health Day 2006 - "Working together for health"

On the occasion of its meeting in Budapest, Hungary, the FIMITIC Board outlines that global health becomes priority issue with view to disability prevention and appropriate medical treatment of disabled people. At the core of the meeting a health discussion took place and a call was launched for urgency of all involved in health-related policy, systems and decision making processes on national and international level to meet the requirements for a fair distribution of medical services while also improving the health workforce crisis.
